- A. About You -

1. Name, age, where are you from and your occupation.

Hey there, my name is Tom Adam, I play a Resto Shaman on Dragonmaw called Drogo. I am 16 years old and from Chester, England. I am Currently finishing my GCSE exams and moving onto 6th form college.

2. Please tell us something interesting about yourself.

I have many commitments in life ranging from school work to music and sport, but when i have the time to spare , i love to logg onto WoW , socialise and meet new people. I would not consider myself as a hard core player, but as someone who, when has the time, enjoys to focus down and work as a team with other players to explore and experience new raid content.

3. The guild relies on information posted on our forums are you the type of person to seek out helpful information and share it with others?

Yes of course, i am very happy to help out other players and share any knowledge. The best way to learn is by other players sharing their own thoughts and experiences to enhance another players gameplay.

4. Do you know anyone in the guild? Who and how do you know them?

I know Ugliwun well, i raided with her throughout Wrath.

- B. About Your Toon -

Please state your:

Character Name, Class and Race: DROGO - Shaman - Tauren
Armory Link:
*Please note: Use the CODE tool for URLs*
If there is anything that isn't immidiately apparent on your link can you please state why.

As i read at the top of your template, you stated no pvp gear for raids, my shaman has a few pvp gear pieces, this is because they have better stats than any piece of gear i could acquire easily. The pvp trink replaced an item 200 which has no spirit on - this was definitely an upgrade. I am currently in the process of farming the new HC to collect any other epic pieces that can replace my existing blues e.g. Chest.

1. Character Specs:
Main: Restoration
Off: Elemental

2. What is your rotation for single target?

Earth Shield - Riptide - Lesser healing wave x2 - ( now if little damage has been made ill do another LHW even though i wont have the reduced cast time, or ill do a Greater healing wave) then repeate - this is my normal rotation.

3. Are you able to play your offspec as well as your main spec? Does your gear also support this?

No not really, i can do around 9k dps in elem spec whilst still in Resto gear, I do not have an alternative gear set for Elemental, i pretty much play Resto 100% of the time.

4. Are you making a X-Realm transfer?
No

5. What is your reputation with Therazane?

Currently one bar off exalted - will probably be exalted by the time you read this though.

6. Do you play actively outside of raiding?

When i can yes, i spend my time finding gear improvements and working on my gems and enchants.

- C. About Guild -

1. Which previous guilds have you been in. If you are in one now why do you wish to leave?

The whole Antex sherbang, too many to name but iv been in pretty much every guild Antex has made since Wrath launch.
AccentioN
The pelicans
Epic Fusion - my current guild, decided to want to leave because i am not really enjoying the guild environment, have been to a raid but no progression was made at all that night, might of been down to choice of players, i am not 100% sure. A nice bunch of people though.

2. What do you expect from us as a guild?

A friendly guild who a are able to mix enjoyments in with progression, a group of people who i can easily relate to, and create friendships. I also hope that i can move myself on as a player whilst with your guild both gear and skill wise.

3. Why do you want to join this guild?

I want to join this guild becuase i would love to get back into raiding again! i have yet to find a guild that can progress or have the skill to do so. However i think i have found the right one here Smile I hope you guys are able to teach me things which i never knew too, so i can improve my class.

- D. About Raiding -

1. Do you have enough time to prepare adequately for raiding?
yes i do

2. If your application is accepted. What kind of raider can we expect you to be? Give a brief description of your attitude towards raiding in both progression and farm content.

I am happy to help any team out if it is progression through new bosses or going back over old bosses to help guild members improve their gear, shot rotation or over feel for raid movement- So decisions become split second instead of precious time being wasted decided on the next move to make. Farm content is as important as Progression in my opinion because it gives a team all the things i jsut described, its tightens up the work of each player to make it perfect, thus making progressive content easier to handle.

3. What is your raiding experience Pre-BC? In BC? WoTLK? and current content? Please state your leadership/role/responsibility

I joined the game in Oct 2007 from what i remember, dinged 70 a little time before wrath hit, so no TBC or BC raids done apart from a new KARA runs.
I raided in nax ulduar, TOC and IC completing all apart from the last boss in Ulduar. As i said before, most of raid raid experience has been alongside my RL friend Antex. I assisted him in raid leading when i fully understood boss encounters, giving out info to the healing section which he would not have known as well as me. However i have always jsut been a raid team member, never lead a raid, which suits me, i prefer to follow the command of others who who more experienced.

4. What do you feel has been your most challenging encounter and why?

In my opinion i found the Ulduar boss , mineron one of the most challenging bosses in its day. This was due to the sheer amount of decisions and strategics points you had to stand in to kill him. His multiple phased fight, which produced a new tactic each time was what challenged me the most. In saying this however, this made Mimeron one of my favourite fights to this day, because of the " on your toes" feel it gave you every time.

5. Please indicate with % your chances of raiding on the following days: (We raid evenings 19:30 - 22:30 game time)
- Wednesdays30%
- Thursdays85%
- Sundays 85%
- Mondays (if necessary) 70%

6. Please post a screenshot of your UI as stated in the above post.

7. Do you have a stable internet connection?
YEs

- E. Extras -
Gridning rep and farming new HC at this moment to increase my gear level.

Is there anything else you wish to add?

A nice application, but there are some stuff that doesnt sound too good:

"I would not consider myself as a hard core player, but as someone who, when has the time, enjoys to focus down and work as a team with other players to explore and experience new raid content."

So you want to join a guild for more raiding, but you dont prio wow?

"As i read at the top of your template, you stated no pvp gear for raids, my shaman has a few pvp gear pieces, this is because they have better stats than any piece of gear i could acquire easily. This is just NO! You want SPI trinket, farm Hellscream. Within two weeks its your....or should have been.

You miss a ton of enchanting, gemming and reforging.....that makes you look not too dedicated to your character.

Two questions:

1. Wheres a printscreen of UI?
2. With your gear, dedication and skills, do you think yourself as ready for heroic raids?

As Wolf said ur gemming is off. This isnt wrath anymore. Haste was the only way to go then, the more haste, the more chain heals, the more healing done. Things have changed.
Also the fact that ur talking about LHW feels misplaced since it was aspell that disappeared when cata came.
Still, giving u the benefit of the doubt and believing u ment healing surge keeping that as a standard part of ur rotation isnt the best idea. Due to patch 4.1 nerfs healing surge should only be used if u think ur healing target will die before u have cast a GHW. Also u should try casting healing wave as much as possible since it is almost mana neutral and it also heals u thanks to HW-glyph.
Application isnt that bad, it just seems like u arent up to speed on anything of what has happened to healers in general in cata or shamans for that matter.
Anyways gl with ur apply, but atm I cant say u have my vote.
Not that I'm an officer, so my vote doesnt matter anyways ^^

wasnt able to get screen shot, its a standard setup with the WOW classic ui, with x-perl , omen, recount down the bottem with sexymap in the top corner, it is as clutter free as possible
